About Spas For A Cause
We believe in hot tubbing and the power of warm water to bring people together for comfort and support.
In 2015, we teamed up with with National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) and launched Spas for a Cause™. Three percent of every pink hot tub sold by Freeflow and Fantasy Spas is donated to NBCF to provide help and inspire hope to those affected by breast cancer through early detection, education and support services.
And we’re not stopping at pink hot tubs. Every year we host a pink party to help raise more funds and encourage our retail network of over 650 locations to get involved and throw pink parties in their local markets in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Last year, we hosted our 4th Spas for a Cause Campaign, and over the last four years, we've been able to raise more than $65,000 for NBCF, which went towards Patient Navigation Services for 237,755 women, and helped to provide screening and diagnostic services for 18,130 women across all 50 states.
This year we're hoping to raise even more money! Talk to your local Freeflow or Fantasy Spas retailer, or donate directly to National Breast Cancer Foundation.
According to the National Cancer Institute:
1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime
When it’s detected early (localized stage), the 5-year survival rate is 100%
For over twenty years, NBCF has used its programs to bring help and hope to those touched by breast cancer. Since 2001, they have provided an estimated 937,500 early detection and breast health services to women in need.

The Mission
NBCF’s mission is to help women now by providing help and inspiring hope to those affected by breast cancer through early detection, education and support services.
Breast cancer is one of the leading health crises for women in the United States. 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. There is currently no known cure for breast cancer, and its early diagnosis is critical to survival.
However, with increased healthcare costs and a rapidly increasing percentage of uninsured women, many simply cannot afford the cost of screening tests. These women are at a significantly higher risk of dying from breast cancer if later diagnosed.
That’s why NBCF provides free mammograms to women in all 50 states through our network of hospitals. We are now joining hands with people around the world to provide breast cancer education.
How NBCF Fulfills Its Mission
NBCF is a stabilizing force in the lives of hundreds of thousands of women who have reached a crossroad in their lives and need a helping hand to get across the bridge. NBCF offers free, innovative programs that other organizations aren’t providing to women facing breast cancer.
These programs include:
NBCF is one of the most recognized and respected breast cancer charities in the world. Since 2003, NBCF has received the highest 4-star rating by Charity Navigator, America’s premier charity evaluator. In 2015, 85% of our revenue was directed to our life-saving programs.
Pink spas are bringing awareness to breast cancer in a way that’s unique and fun. Hot tubbing can be a great method of relaxation, allowing you to get centered, have fun and reconnect with loved ones during a time that can be very stressful. ~ Kathleen Shawl Parkes, breast cancer survivor
